He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jeanette, Doreen, Michael and Mary. He is survived by: his spouse Arna; his children, Brock (Laurie) and Kevin (Carolyn); his grandchildren, David, Kate, Abbigael and Liam; and his brother Big.

“It was just today that for some reason, tom came to mind. He was an important person in my early life as we attended sgwc in montreal, sharing with murray johnson a hot plate to keep us fed during those times of limited finances, which was never of concern. On graduation, we all got to toronto and continued friendship until employment took us to different places. I do regret not having thought earlier as only a few years ago, i was in hamilton happily retired. My wife erla passed away there”
