He was predeceased by: his sisters, Helen Startek, Nellie Yarmol, Stella Spanik, Jeanne Duda and Gladys Yarmol.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Nancy (Mark), Kathy (Danny) and Mark (Cathie); his grandchildren, Christopher, Jerod, Ryan (Lauren), Tessa, Patrick (Taylor), Nathan, Justin, Abbi, Braeden and Kyle; and his family Defective.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to, The Canadian Cancer Society, Sick Kids Toronto and St. Joseph's Healthcare Complex Care Unit.
