She was predeceased by: her husband John Gerald Justus Kirstein; and her brother Paul. She is survived by: her children, Louis Kirstein (Alma), Susan Slabbert (Deon) and Kobus Kirstein (Christél); and her sisters, Hettie and Retha.
Even though Covid robbed Susanna from sharing her love and memories with family and friends for so many months, she enjoyed their unbounded friendship and care.
