She was predeceased by: her husband John Richard "Dick" Stookes. She is survived by: her children, John Stookes and Jill Blanchard; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Darryl), Cheryl (Trevor), Lindsay (Lucas) and Jamie (Carol-Anne); and her great grandchildren, Lyla, Nolan, Alexander, Cameron, Kai, Ashton, Courtney and Hayden.

As an expression of sympathy, donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society or Crohns Colitis Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
