Samuel Gaetano Marchese Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Gaetano Marchese (Burlington, Ontario), who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom and Bertha; his stepmother Urla; and his siblings, Gerry, Tom and Carubba.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Eileen; his children, Sam Jr. (Beverlee), Stephanie and Jacqueline; his grandsons, Ethan and Elliott; and his brother Paul. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bay Gardens (1010 Botanical Dr, Burlington, ON L7T1V1). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Burlington - Bay Gardens Cremation, Memorial & Funeral Home (1010 Botanical Dr, Burlington, ON L7T1V1). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1).

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to The Salvation Army or The War Amps.
