Rosella Elgar Obituary

We bid farewell to Rosella Elgar (Burlington, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 11, 2025 at the age of 78. Rosella touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Franceschini and Anna Franceschini; and her brothers, Michael (Hilda) and Ronald Franceschini. She is survived by: her husband Chris Elgar; her children, Derek Wright, Jamie Elgar (Helen) and Bianca Luce (Matthew); her grandchildren, Rose', Lewis, Patrick and Niamh Elgar; and her sister Rita Fredson (Ed). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Burlington Golf and Country Club (422 North Shore Blvd E, Burlington, ON L7T1W9).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Joseph Brant Hospital or Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
