He was predeceased by: his sister Debbie. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Barbara Rogers (Richard), Julie Coulter, Sandy Coulter (Stuart Englander), Patricia Rees-Jones and Jacqui Armitage (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jordan Vaeth (Heather Foster), Amber Kooiman (Quinton), Carley Goddard, Megan Rees-Jones, Taryn Rees-Jones, Kiara Rees-Jones, Matthew McConville, Cecilia Armitage and Randy Armitage; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Dylan Kooiman, Ryker Widdes and Max Vaeth; and his siblings, Garth Taylor (Dianne), Mark Taylor, Gail Taylor, David Taylor and Joan Cassidy (Jack). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, a Private Family Service will be held with interment at Woodland Cemetery, Hamilton.
