He was predeceased by: his daughter Heather. He is survived by: his spouse Jean; his children, Stephen (Brigitte) and Jonathan (Pamela); and his siblings-in-law, Malcolm Donaldson (Elizabeth) of Brechin and Mary Donaldson (late James). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
