He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cameron and Ellen Marjorie (Barrick); and his siblings, Donald, William, Alexander (Shirley), Margaret (Cleo), Marjorie (John Paul) and Marion (Alex).

He is survived by: his sister Shirley (Ken); his wife Sheila May (Hale); and his daughters, Ellen McNeil (Richard), Sandra Graham (Ron), Susan Potter (Ed) and Doreen MacKenzie. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
