He was predeceased by: his parents, Nora and Leo; his brother Paul; and his siblings-in-law, Pat and Jim Warford.

He is survived by: his close friend Valerie; his son James (Jody); his grandson Liam; his siblings, Anne (Coune), Roger and Robert; his sister-in-law Diane (Jon); his nieces and nephews, Marc (Edna), Daniel (Laurette), Michel, Rejean, Chantal and Carrissa; his great-niece Samantha (Brett); his great-nephew Cody (Krista); and also Callie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke would be appreciated by the family.
