He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Benson and Margery Benson; and his siblings, Marion Baird and Richard Benson. He is survived by: his close friend Kathy Silliker; and his sister Thelma Reynolds (Paul Reynolds). He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made as donations to a charity of the individual's choice, reflecting their personal connection with Paul.
