She was predeceased by: her spouse Alexander James Dey; her parents, Innes Fraser and Lorna Fraser; and her sibling Louise Steele. She is survived by: her children, Alex (Marlene), Innes (Liane) and Matthew; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Jillian, Liam, Ainsley and Madeleine; and her sibling Betty O'Brien.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, in recognition of her many years of service.
