He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly; his sister Dorrie Birbeck; and his nephews, Gordon of Alberta, Bruce of Alberta and Norman Birbeck of Alberta.
He is survived by: his children, Laura of Stoney Creek and David (Samantha) of Burlington; his cousins, Helen Beath of St. Catharines and Ron Beath (Janet) of Gravenhurst; and his nieces and nephews, Heather Birbeck, Irene Birbeck of Alberta, Sharon Browning (Ed), Jeff Winegard (Julie) and Rick Baker (Kathy).
