She was predeceased by: her siblings, Dr. Samuel J. Poots (Lilian), Dr. Vaughan Poots (June) and Vera Anderson (Jim). She is survived by: her spouse Johnston; her daughters, Heather and Jennifer (Rod Jones); and her grandchildren, Katy of Toronto and Gregory of Toronto. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
