It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michel Yves Forget of Burlington, Ontario, born in Sherbrooke, Québec, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Rita Forget and Bertrand Forget (Shirley Forget); his father Pierre V; his stepfather Pierre Vandale; and his father Joseph Forget.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Buck Forget; his sons, Philip (Jackee Evans-Forget) and Kevin (Katy); his grandchildren, Sophie, Asher, Brooklyn, Maggie, Evalina and Adelaide; his great grandchildren, Brysen and Briella; and his siblings, Jules Forget (Murielle Forget), Marishka Forget (Mark Cote), Real Forget (late Camilla), Jean-Guy Forget (Liliane Forget), Nicole Forget, Suzette Forget (Jean Courchesne) and Andre Forget (Terese Belanger). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The Covid-19 "outdoor" Christmas Party was one of his favourites.
