He was predeceased by: his parents, Melville James and Jean James. He is survived by: his wife Collette; his children, Kristian and Bryce; his siblings, Steve (Shannon), Trina McCormack (Paul) and Laura Bennett (Earl); and his parents-in-law, David and Daphne Badgery. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
