He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, J. A. and B. A.. He is survived by: his wife Indra; his children, Michael (Maria), Steven (Lydia), Joanna (Mike) and Randy (Jenn); the mother of his children Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Sarah (Mark), Rhyan, Jennifer (Jon), Kathleen (Jordan), John, Samantha, Jacob, Isaac and Charley; his great grandchildren, Madison, Lukas, Merik, Lauren, Ethan, Aiden and Olive; his brothers, Bert (Norma), Ken (Luella) and John (Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Claus, Cleone and Barbara. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Parkinson's Foundation, Mountsberg Baptist Church, or AgeCare Glen Oaks in Oakville.
