She is survived by: her husband Luciano; her children, Julie Terella (Frank), Anna Campanella (Tom), Livia Mastroianni (Frank), Maria and Antonio (Marianna); her grandchildren, Sam, Andrea (Shane), Daniel (Emily), Maria (Eli), Victoria (Paul), Michael (Andrea), Luciano and Tino; her great grandchildren, Mia, Julia, Zackery, Noah, Miles and Joseph; her brother Mario (late Filomena); and her siblings-in-law, Ida (late Ciccillo) and Emilio (late Teresa). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

“Melina had been in my life for over 40 years. She was the mother of my Zia Julia and nonna to my cousins Andrea and Victoria. Melina was one of the kindest women I’ve ever known. She was deeply rooted in family and that was evident in everything she did. I enjoyed our talks at every event at my Zia Julia’s house even though Melina was constantly running around helping instead of relaxing but that’s just the way she was. She was always helpful, wise and loving. The world lost a wonderful soul.”
