As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Beatrice; his sister Patricia (Douglas Cooper); and his wife Mary. He is survived by: his significant other Anne-Marie Watson; his brothers, Paul (Sylvia) and Bill (Nancy); and his grandson Liam. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church (305 E 37th St, Hamilton, ON L8V4B5).
