With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Theresa (McCann) Roy (Burlington, Ontario), who passed away on April 1, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John McCann and Sarah Rooney. She is survived by: her husband John Roy; her daughters, Roisin (Steve) and Fiona (Marco); her grandchildren, Ryan, Caitlin, Anna and Declan; and her siblings, Kate, Margaret, Anne, Gerard and Sean.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home (64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON L6K1E1). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael Parish (4072 New St, Burlington, ON L7L1S9). The family extends their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff at Wyndham Manor for their kindness, care, and dignity shown to Mary, especially during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
