He is survived by: his children, Michael (Kathryn), Alex (Nathanael) and Meagan; his grandsons, Cole, Henry, Ezra and Cooper; his sister Abbey Newman; and his mother Sheila Newman. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Beth Jacob Cemetery (1250 Snake Rd, Burlington, ON L7P5A7).
