She was predeceased by: her parents, Ken MacSween and Cathleen MacSween (Barry); her brother Barry; and her in-laws, Ziggy and Maria Kalvaitis.
She is survived by: her husband Casey Kalvaitis; her children, Jay MacSween (Tammy Hergott), Ken Kalvaitis and Jessie Peloso (Ben); her siblings, Bill MacSween (Bev), Marg McGill (Duncan) and Patricia McLean (Greg); and also, Ray Kalvaitis (Monica), Loretta Kalvaitis, Rick Kalvaitis (Anna) and Rob Kalvaitis (Jennifer). She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maria's name would be appreciated by the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation, the Halton Learning Foundation.
