She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Manuel; her children, Carlos Oliveira, Donny (Lina Oliveira), Mark (Michelle Oliveira) and Aida (Pedro Carreiro); her grandchildren, Victor (Shannon Carreiro), Tiffany (Vince Deangelis), Chelsea (Jesse Botelho), Anthony, Matthew, Manny and Ashley Oliveira; and her great grandchildren, Louisa, Henry, Levi, Arlo, Ana, Derandre, Nathyiz and Azariah.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Parish (23 Sheaffe St, Hamilton, ON L8R2N7). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (580 Old York Rd, Burlington, ON L7P4Y6).
Donations in memory of Maria, may be made to Bob Kemp Hospice, or the Canadian Cancer Society of Canada.
