Marcia Throop Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2021, at the age of 68, Marcia Throop of Burlington, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marcia Throop to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Throop and Muriel Throop. She is survived by: her husband Ian Cowling; her children, Aaron Friedman (Danielle), Alysha Friedman and Joel Friedman (Rebecca); her stepson Andrew Cowling (Shannon); her grandchildren, Avery, Mirah, Sarah and Avital; her sibling Dulcie Barber; her nieces and nephews, Michael, Kristen and Kyla; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brian, Ethan, Ella, Gracie and Skyler.

While it seemed appropriate to suggest donations to brain cancer research, she was not defined by her illness and we want to honour her life and achievements in a way that would bring her joy.
