He was predeceased by: his brother Grant; his parents, Fred Almas Senior and Dorothy; his brother Fred Almas Junior; and his son Kenneth Grant Almas.

He is survived by: his wife Dale; his brother Bruce (Bernice); his daughters, Georgia Mete (Phil), Jennifer Wallis (Marcuz) and Ginger Hurlburt (Mike); and his daughter-in-law Deborah Almas (Grant).

A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1030 Greenwood Dr, Burlington, ON L7T3P6).
