He was predeceased by: his wife Muriel Joan (Dodie); his parents, Gaetano Premi and Mary Premi; and his siblings, Angelo and Loretta.

He is survived by: his brother Julius (Patricia); his children, David (Gail), Anne (Bruce) and Nora (Mark); his grandchildren, Jeremie, Hannah (Jacob), Benjamin, Evan, Declan and Ciara; and his great grandchildren, Jameson and Claira.
