He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Patterson and Joan Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Patterson; his children, John Patterson III (Melissa) and Sarah Gillard (Matthew); and his grandchildren, John "Jack" Patterson IV and Darcy Patterson.
