John left this world on October 28, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Olga; his parents, John Bilowus and Justine Bilowus; and his brothers-in-law, Paul (Olga Krawec), Roman (Sonia Hucal), Slawko and Bohdan.

He is survived by: his daughter Mary (Gord); his sister Anne Dolchewski; his siblings-in-law, Walter Wolansky and Trudy; his godchildren, Peter Hucal and Krystine Evanochko; and his daughter Chaika. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
