He was predeceased by: his siblings, Manuel De Sousa, Maria Borges (Antonio), Arminda Azvedo (Herculano) and Albertina Cardoso (Jose). He is survived by: his wife Maria DeSousa; his children, Joâo Lubino (Isara), Jorge Lino (Helena) of Sao Jorge, Azores and Portugal; his stepchildren, Dina Camacho, Gabby Camacho and Cecilia Melo (Nelson); his grandchildren, Samuel, Simao, Sergio and Laurenco; his stepgranddaughters, Sofia, Ava and Chloe Melo; and his siblings, Olgario De Sousa (Gelsmina), Antonio De Sousa (Natalia), Lidia De Sousa and Jose De Sousa (Guimar). He is also survived by his extended family including many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as numerous friends.
