Jeltje was predeceased by: husband Art Hordyk. Jeltje is survived by: children, Jean Hordyk, Cynthia (Ken), John (Gerda) and Rick; grandchildren, Leah, Alexis, Olivia and Chelsea; siblings, Clarence, Ben (Diane), Frances, Jackie (Art), Jack (Patti) and Marg (Henk); and brother-in-law John (Teddy). Jeltje is also survived by extended family and friends.
