He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Emily; his father William Irvine; and his brother Colin. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Graham (Linda), Fiona (Richard) and Malcolm (Kathy); his grandchildren, Andrew (Amy), Katie (Steven), Daniel (Karleigh), Madeline and Alex; his close friend Laurine; and his mother Jessie Mills.
