She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Bennet; her children, Vanessa Bennet (Aron) and Grant Bennet (Deb); her grandchildren, Jessica, Meredith, Andrew, Faith and James; her brother-in-law Curt (Pat); her niece Sue (Tony); and her cousin Carol (Alan) of South Africa.

In lieu of flowers, for those who wish donations in memory of Hilda can be made to the Carpenter Hospice of Burlington or the Red Cross.
