He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Nelson; and his siblings, Leonard, Ronald, Gerald, Beverley and Mary.

He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Sarachman, Kathryn (Jim Czegeny) and Elizabeth (James Sabry); his grandchildren, Andrew, Rachael, Jonathon, Bryan, Emerald and Jeremy; and his siblings, Winston and Faith.
