She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Stephenson and Elfrida Stephenson; her former husband Donald Smith; and her sisters, Nila Hawthorne (Doug) and Barbara Beemer (Dick).

She is survived by: her sons, Cameron Smith (Renata Frankovich) of Ottawa and Doug Smith (Carol Chong) of Toronto; and her sister Vera Clayton (late Red Clayton). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and all her grandnieces and grandnephews.
