He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Cusolle and Felizitas "Susie" Cusolle (Leopoldine); and his sister Jutta McManus. He is survived by: his wife Mary-Louise; his sons, Todd Cusolle (Deborah) of Scottsdale, AZ, Troy Cusolle (Lynn) of Oakville, ON and Trevor Cusolle (Farrah Chan); his sisters, Cindy Cusolle of Toronto, ON and Yvonne Cusolle of Toronto, ON; and his grandchildren, Paige, Scarlett and Remy.

Memorial donations in memory of Gunther may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Habitat for Humanity.
