We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2024, at the age of 92, Gundaris Kikauka (Burlington, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gundaris departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gundaris may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gundaris leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Helēna. He is survived by: his daughters, Astrid Grinvalds (John) and Daina Denis (James Barclay). He is also survived by 4 grandsons, 5 great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home (1010 Botanical Dr, Burlington, ON L7T1V1). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Burlington - Bay Gardens Cremation, Memorial & Funeral Home (1010 Botanical Dr, Burlington, ON L7T1V1). A reception will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
