He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Gordon Macpherson and Mary Strathcona Macpherson (MacBeth); his wife Nancy; and his brother Colonel Bruce Macpherson. He is survived by: his sister Betty (Lawrie Taylor); his children, Alexander Macpherson (Sandy) and Pamela McPherson (Kirk); and his grandchildren, Heather, Colin, Andrew and James. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
