He was predeceased by: his brother Greg; and his parent Hamilton. He is survived by: his nieces, Jenny Layhew of Ottawa and Stephanie Allardyce (Tim) of Ottawa; his children, Cody and Catherine; his son-in-law Hugo Toft Sorensen (Megan); and his grandchildren, Christian, Kai and Will of Gord's.
