“Heather: so saddened to hear of Gord's passing. It brings back memories of Sir Winston, especially the football team we were teammates on. I distinctly remember Gord emceeing the Variety Night one year and actually smoking a cigarette on the stage. I have no idea how he got away with that. I was glad I got to see you both last year at Bill Heelis's celebration of life I trust you have many happy memories of your 50+ years of marriage to sustsin you through this difficult time.”

He was such a pleasant, smiling, friendly person. I will miss seeing him at our office. Sadly I have just lost my mother, so I share your grief. God Bless Gordon and all of you”
