He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mark and Mae (Nicholson); his great-great-grandparent Thomas Alton; his wife Doreen (Heatherington); his siblings, Donald Alton and Lois Harrison (Bill); his children, Karen Hibbert (Steve) and David Alton (Kim); his sister-in-law Margaret; his grandchildren, Heather Wong (Steve), Scott Hibbert (Ashlee), Emily (Danny Abbott), Alanna Cashin (Andrew), Sydney and Alexandra; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Jonathan, Anastasia Hibbert, Hadley and Grayson Wong.

All visitors are asked to please wear a face mask and are to remain in their cars until their allotted time.

For those who wish and in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gordon to St. Matthew's House in Hamilton would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
