He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Anne Norman; and his brother Douglas Norman (late Bernice). He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Sills (Malcolm), Judi Gunby and Paul Norman; his grandchildren, Katie Lamarre (Bruno), Matt Gunby (Fiona Mullin), Lisa Farquharson (Kevin) and Stephen Sills; his great grandchildren, Riley, Rowan and Merrill; and his brother Edward Norman (Nancy).

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gerry to the Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation or St. Christopher's Anglican Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
