He was predeceased by: his parents, John Graham MacCara and Mary Graham (MacCara); and his siblings, Jean, Murray, Forbes and Kathleen.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Allen (Sheila), Ruth (Gennaro) and Honorary; his grandchildren, Anne (David), Jacob (Amanda), Victoria (Spencer), Matthew (Michelle), Emily (Richard) and Hope (Stephen); his great grandchild Briar; and his brothers, Eldon (late Elizabeth) and Gordon (Evelyn).
