He was predeceased by: his brother Andreja Komac (Silvia). He is survived by: his spouse Tersilla Komac; his children, Suzanna Shaunessy (Steven), Dennis Komac (Cheryl) and Nancy Zuccherato (Michael); his grandchildren, Leah, Christopher, Kelly, Nicole, Renee, Alec and Dante; and his sibling Liljana Ivancic (Alois) of Slovenia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
