Ed Shaw Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ed Shaw of Burlington, Ontario, born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Ed departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ed may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ed leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kitty. He is survived by: his daughter Meredith; his son-in-law Jim; and his grandchildren, Carson and Timothy.
A funeral service was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Anglican Church (2464 Dundas St, Burlington, ON L7R3X4).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ed's memory could be made to St. John's Anglican Church, Burlington or Jumpstart Charities.
