He was predeceased by: his wife Myrna; his brother Howard (late Mae); and his close friend Jean Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Krystle Stoneman (Ed) and Jeffrey "J. D." Pettit (Jill); his grandchildren, Abbey, Brooke, Jackson, Zachary and William; his sister Jackie (late Bill); and his brother-in-law Dale (Cathy).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Smith's Funeral Home - Brant Street (485 Brant St, Burlington, ON L7R2G5). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
