He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Jamie (Bernie) and Brent (Elenor); his granddaughter Jessica; his sisters, Shirley Balkwill (Roy) and Lois Johnson (Linc); and his parents, William Nicholson and Gertrude Nicholson.

He is survived by: his children, Doug (Karen), Duane and Cheryl (Mike); and his grandchildren, Drew, Bailey, Kasey (Chris), Steven (Rebecca), Kevin (Darcy), Richard, Sarah (Mark), Ryan, Cameron (Kate), Mitchel (Kayla), Shaun, Chase, Kali-Emmaline, Wyatt, Heidi Rose, Benjamin, Jackson, Noah and Maisy. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 7 Charterhouse Crescent, Ancaster, ON L9G4E4.
