It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derek Daniel Wilkie of Burlington, Ontario, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Angela; his sons, Owen, Sam and Drew; his parents, Francis Wilkie and Joanne Wilkie; his siblings, Scott (Lisa), Debra (Howard Anderson) and Dawn (Raymond Perry); his nieces and nephews, Laura, Kyle, Emily Stephanie, Taylor, Brayden, Cory, Logan and Jason; his great-nephew Kayden; his parents-in-law, Irene and Doug Lundy; and his sister-in-law Val. He is also survived by neighbors, and coworkers.
