It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denise Katherine Hogan of Burlington, Ontario, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Donald Hogan; her children, James Hogan of Toronto, Patrick Hogan of Owen Sound and Kathleen Henderson (Robert) of Toronto; her grandchildren, Bennett, Clare, Christian, Audrey, Christopher, Rosemary, Fiona, Bridget, Hugh and Niall; and her parents, Thomas Walsh and Edith Walsh.
She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas, Francine, Andrea, Mark, Christine, Stephan and Laurette.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church (4072 New St, Burlington, ON L7L1S9). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rock Garden Visitor Centre, Royal Botanical Gardens (1185 York Blvd, Hamilton, ON L0R2H9).
If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Good Shepherd Centre (https://goodshepherdcentres.ca), a charity dear to Denise, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
