He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Watson and Keith Watson; and his sisters, Barbara (E. J.) and Connie (Klaus). He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Kevin (Julie), Chris (Megan) and Callie; his grandchildren, Kate, Eric, Jack, Bridget and Thomas; and his brother Richard (Eleanor). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, and his long time special friends.

I always enjoyed chatting with Dean while we were refereeing women's volleyball and was always glad to see Dean come into the gym to referee games when I was coaching.
