He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Miriam "Yvonne"; his brothers, Carson and Blake Moyer; his sister-in-law Eleanor Moyer; and his parents, Menno Moyer and Maggie Snyder.

He is survived by: his children, Sheryn Ricker (Ryan) and Andrew Moyer (Monica Pozzolo); his grandchildren, Josiah Ricker, Liesel Knight-Messenger (Stephen), Matthias Ricker, Nathaniel Ricker and Isabella Moyer; his siblings, Joan Moyer and James (Jim); his sister-in-law Ellen Moyer; and his friends, Waterloo, Oakville, Midland and Michigan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
